Design and intent of renovation was to maintain original integrity of the home that was owner built in 1979

  • Fir cladding, tongue and groove joints, beams and trim used for upper replacement and  basement addition are rough cut timber to compliment existing log home structure, exterior and interior finishing
  • Original roofing angle was maintained through roof and timber replacement to stay true to original design
  • Addition of dormer windows in main living area of original part of the home to elevate overall exterior design and keep in line with the style of the addition
  • Turned open storage space into 1544sqft of living space that includes a new master bedroom, ensuite, second bathroom, rec room, mudroom and laundry
  • Tavertine tile utilized in bathroom, laundry and mudroom addition
  • Exterior cladding replaced with Hardieplank to blend with new addition as well as the use of stone on the façade, posts and chimney
